On 1.3 I dragged the gallery app from page 2 -> page 1 (it is not deletable), and I dragged too far to the left and then the touch was not recognized anymore. So all the way to the left. Then the icon animated up out of the viewport, and is gone from the homescreen. No way to get it back. It's still on the phone of course (via everything.me f.e.) but to the user it will be gone.

I want to reproduce it in order to fix and/or investigate what bug is happening. Could you upload a video? It will help me a lot as STR because trying comment 1 I cannot reproduce the issue and I am pretty sure that I am doing something wrong

So I reproduced it once, but then the camera wasn't rolling... Anyway, now this is the behavior. I don't know what exactly is going on, but you can see icons flying out to the left. Is there an indexedDB file or something on the phone that I can send?

I would like to know how to reach that wrong state because I don't see icons bouncing. Which dimensions is that screen?

Could you check the value of this var https://github.com/mozilla-b2g/gaia/blob/v1.3/apps/homescreen/js/grid.js#L9? thanks a lot

QA Wanted to confirm this on 1.3 on a production device.

That value holds true.

So, I think that the problem is how tablets are being detected. The grid component thinks that the GP Revolution device is a phone and obviously it is not a tablet https://github.com/mozilla-b2g/gaia/blob/v1.3/apps/homescreen/js/grid.js#L79 Jan, could you hardcode that variable like false? and check what happens?

I cannot reproduce this issue on latest v1.3 Buri, specifically, dragging the icons around I cannot reproduce the issue where the icon on the last row shifts to the left offscreen instead it shifts to the previous row in the last slot as expected. v1.3 Environmental Variables: Device: Buri v1.3 MOZ BuildID: 20140317004001 Gaia: 0ab8a9cbcef5f23cec904a3d7f7675e44de29951 Gecko: f824e9d91a2d Version: 28.0 Firmware Version: v1.2-device.cfg

Not reproducible on a production device, so not blocking.

Identified by GeeksPhone as a bug in their codebase. Or they're tracking it or something. See http://forum.geeksphone.com/index.php?topic=6030.0 .
