Steps to reproduce:
I just opened an email and clicked the reply button. Tried that in several folders (both online via IMAP and local) and with different mail accounts. I also tried not to use the reply button but going over right clicking and selecting reply in the menu.
Actual results:
Nothing happened.
Expected results:
Normally a window should appear to write the reply.
All other buttons like forward or delete are working fine. Restart of Thunderbird and the OS (Kubuntu) didn't change anything.

Sorry, it is working again and it was not a Thunderbird problem but one of the Add-on "Change quote and reply format". With that one deactivated the reply button works as normal.
