Details

From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; WinNT4.0; en-US; rv:0.9.3) Gecko/20010801
BuildID: 2001080110

There seems to exist a memory leak in the browser implementation: When I use
Mozilla over a longer periode of time without restarting it, memory consumption
continues to grow. The memory once allocated by a browser window is obviously
only partly given back to the system, at least thats what the NT task manager
view suggests. Once I end up with a total memory consumption of more than 200 MB
(after browsing several very long tables)!

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
You can easily reproduce the effect by opening a simple table with some columns
and, lets say, 1000 rows close it, open it again, close it, ...

The pages i used contained JavaScript.

My cache settings are: 4096 memory, 5000 disk, automatically
Reporter: Are you using turbo (fastload) ?
No, I am not using fastload.

I mark this bug invalid :
We know that mozilla have a few memory leaks.
You can search bugzilla with the keyword "mlk" and you will find this bug
reports.
This bug report is too general.
