The performance sometimes is bad when suspend/resume. In my test, I found performance is bad when enter "check_charger" function. It spent 4 seconds when resume. User will feel no response after press power key to resume device. Bad performance case: [ 709.845811] platform_legacy_resume wmtts_touch [ 709.965497] ==> rtl8188e_iol_efuse_patch [ 710.829957] [ZET] zet622x_resume_downloader OK [ 710.881530] [check_charger]: disable_mode [ 714.387297] usb1-2 : usb_resume_both: status 0 [ 714.403696] PM: suspend exit 2000-01-01 06:04:03.857173152 UTC Normal case: [ 724.497327] platform_legacy_resume wmtts_touch [ 724.545107] WMT_I2S: Resume: CHCFG0=0x10101010, HDACHCFG=0x76543210 [ 724.551355] wmt_pcm_controller_init: pcm_clk_src=63272 ==> rtl8188e_iol_efuse_patch [ 725.141086] usb1-2 : usb_resume_both: status 0 [ 725.166536] PM: suspend exit 2000-01-01 06:04:17.876576421 UTC Expected result: Suspend/resume is smoothly and backlight can be on quickly. (In reply to Joe Cheng [:jcheng] from comment #3) > Hi Danny, is this partner bug? or some gecko/gaia bug? Thanks This should be partner bug, and might relate to charger function check. The bad performance only happened when "[check_charger]: disable_mode" appear.
