From Qualcomm's testing:

Issue: Click on the gallery preview in camera and delete the picture. Go back to camera, the same thumbnail you deleted is present. (Gallery thumbnail is not updated in the camera)

The bug is no longer reproduces on the latest 1.4 and master build.
With the new design image is deleted from preview and thumbnail is updated.
