The request is to have this in place on a windows 2008R2 build machine by April 2nd so that dmajor can begin work when he returns from PTO.

To be clear, this needs to be the MSVC 2013 update 2 CTP 2. The current release version of MSVC2013 has bugs which prevent Firefox from building.

This should be a 64-bit OS and compiler.

This has been installed via GPO in ix-mn-w0864-001.wintest.releng.scl3.mozilla.com, which is in the build testing OU. 

2 quick notes. First when looking "about Microsoft Studio" under help it will not show CTP 2. I think this because of the length of the field for it. However the file to update is vs2013.2CTP.exe.

Also with the initial install and the updates, the total process runs for 2+ hours in the background. I just wanted to bring this up so we could plan accordingly if we decided to push it out the build OU.

The way the GPO works is it runs and immediate task running the vs2013.bat.The source files are located at \\releng.ad.mozilla.com\SysVol\releng.ad.mozilla.com\files\vs2013\STUDIO.
