This issue is reproducible with the latest Beta (Build ID: 20140318013849) [1], all platforms. Steps to reproduce: 1. Launch Firefox with a new profile. 2. Click on the menu button and select "Sign in to Sync". 3. Sign in with a Firefox Account. 4. Open at least 5 websites in different tabs and then initiate a sync (make sure "Tabs" is checked in Options > Sync menu first). 5. Launch Firefox with a 2nd clean profile and sign in with the same Firefox Account. 6. After the initial sync is completed, access the menu bar > History > Tabs From Other Devices. Expected result: The "Tabs From Other Devices" (about:sync-tabs) page opened in the 2nd profile/device is displaying all the tabs currently opened in the 1st profile/device. Actual result: The "Tabs From Other Devices" page from the 2nd profile/device is only showing the first three tabs from the 1st profile/device. 1. Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; WOW64; rv:29.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/29.0
I'll update this bug with further information as soon as possible.
Each tab on another device needs to be unique. In other words, TFoD page won't show a tab if the same page is already open in a tab on this device.
(In reply to [:tracy] Tracy Walker - QA Mentor from comment #2) > Each tab on another device needs to be unique. In other words, TFoD page > won't show a tab if the same page is already open in a tab on this device. That seems to be the case, some of the tabs I had opened at the time on profile A, were also currently opened on profile B. I checked again using completely different websites opened in separate tabs on two profiles and "Tabs From Other Devices" displays the data as expected, thanks Tracy!
