Details
Steps to reproduce: 1. Launch Firefox with a new profile. 2. Open a new private window. 3. Access the following URL in the private window: http://pocketnow.com and wait for a few seconds. Expected result: The website specified is loaded and displayed in the private window. Actual result: Before or immediately after the website is loaded, the regular window is brought on top, leaving the private window out of focus. This issue is reproducible on Windows 8.1 64-bit [1] using: - Firefox 28.0 (Build ID: 20140306171728) - the latest Beta (Build ID: 20140318013849) - the latest Aurora (Build ID: 20140320004001) - the latest Nightly (Build ID: 20140320030203) I will follow up on this bug in terms of regression and further information, as soon as possible. 1. Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; WOW64; rv:29.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/29.0

This is likely bug 768802, since this is regularly seen when using private windows that involve flash.

(In reply to Josh Matthews [:jdm] from comment #1) > This is likely bug 768802, since this is regularly seen when using private > windows that involve flash. Hi Josh, this seems indeed to be happening consistently in the case of websites that use Flash heavily. The attempts of reproducing the bug on other websites that contain a large amount of content but not nearly as much Flash content, failed. Marking this as a dupe of Bug 768802.
