RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 971298

People

(Reporter: eric, Unassigned)

Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.7; rv:29.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/29.0 (Beta/Release)
Build ID: 20140318013849

Steps to reproduce:

The back-forward button and reload buttons no longer available in customize toolbar. They are now fixed to the url window in FF 29.0. Every major "improvement" seems to reduce the ability to customize the user interface.

There are extensions which can provide these separate buttons such as https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/classicthemerestorer/ You will see from bug 986488 that some users were accidentally removing their navigation buttons and were unable to restore them because they didn't know how to. More savvy users like yourself can install an extension to achieve this behaviour.

As an example of added customization in Firefox 29, the new menu is customizable whereas the previous one was not.
