I am using Thunderbird for several different email accounts simultaneously. In all but one of them, in the listing of folders on the left hand side, underneath the account name there are several folders such as "inbox", "Sent", "Junk", "Trash", etc. However, in one case, the hierarchical structure is such that only the inbox folder is directly under the account name and all the other folders are organized to be subfolders of the inbox folder, rather than being on the same level of the hierarchy as the inbox folder; that is, the "Sent", "Junk", and "Trash" folders are organized to be subfolders of the inbox folder rather than being subfolders directly under the account name itself. I have communicated at length with the ISP that provides this email account and they do not have an answer to this question. I also installed the "Manually Sort Folders" extension but I could not get that to solve the problem either. I will attach a screenshot showing how the folders are organized as subfolders to inbox rather than being on the same level of the hierarchy as the inbox folder
