If I exit and attempt to restart, the browser does not always display, or does not display for a very long time (I have seen it take between 30 minutes and 12 hours). AFAIK, the problem is intermittent, although it occurs more often than not. I have not noticed anything of note in the messages dumped to the command line. The browser displays as expected when I shut down and restart the X server. I have noticed this problem in builds since approximately 27 August.
Reporter: Please indicate the Mozilla build as well as your Linux build/version, etc.
The latest build on which I have observed this problem is 2001090608. I run Debian Linux (unstable), kernel version 2.4.9, libc6 2.2.3, gtk 1.2.10.
Marking these all WORKSFORME sorry about lack of response but were very overloaded here. Only reopen the bug if you can reproduce with the following steps: 1) Download the latest nightly (or 0.9.6 which should be out RSN) 2) Create a new profile 3) test the bug again If it still occurs go ahead and reopen the bug. Again sorry about no response were quite overloaded here and understaffed.

ksosez says really WFM. WFM also, on configuration virtually identical to that of reporter. I haven't seen this. Verifying WFM; reporter, if this is still a problem, reopen the bug.
