Action: Please sound off on whether you feel these are connected and, if not, reach out to the other team members to sync up. 1.) MGMT Meeting Data Reports - I am now responsible for bringing (i) the number of contributors, (ii) the number of dollars, and (iii) the trend lines to the target for both into the MGMT call each week. Obviously, this is easier for all of us if this is just a matter of bringing up an existing dashboard. I know plans are already well underway to have these built. First numbers are due on the 1st, so that's the deadline for at least a pencil sketch. 2.) Contributor Tracking - Plan remains to have Webmaker model the way. But it's important to have Webmaker also *seed* the way by making sure it's building into the systems Adam is coordinating. Is Adam linked into the day-to-day on the Webmaker dashboards? 3.) fundraising.mozilla.org rebuild - Andrea and Erika are leading the rebuild of fundraising.mozilla.org, which will feature our fundraising dashboards. These will contain our targets, progress to date, and the resulting trend line. We are all pushing for a model where our internal management dashboard *is* our external public dashboard. Andrea and I are well into planning what this looks like. The targets are already set (have been since last year's budgeting process). So it's important that Lynn and Paula know that this is happening so they don't duplicate the efforts + can build their workflow and data sets (the Gauntlet) to feed those dashboards. 4.) Partner Management & CRM - Amira, Erika, Erica, and others have been working on the communications and contribution pathways. Andrea is working on requirements for the campaign, email, and engagement platform to (ideally) replace BSD. Andrea is also working on organization-wide list growth strategies. A Webmaker Mentor needs to be accessible to be asked for money during EOY, etc. Are these conversations connected? 5.) Contributor Badges - Important to make sure there's no daylight between the engagement funnel for Webmaker, Webmaker badges, and Mozilla contributor badges. They need to parts of the same whole. Emily, Matt, Michelle: Are these linked?
> 1.) MGMT Meeting Data Reports > - I am now responsible for bringing (i) the number of contributors, (ii) the > number of dollars, and (iii) the trend lines to the target for both into the > MGMT call each week. * Great! Adam has shipped an early prototype contributor dashboard here: http://adamlofting.github.io/mofo-contributors-dashboard/ * His (excellent) context and documentation is here: https://wiki.mozilla.org/Webmaker/Metrics * And on his blog: > 2.) Contributor Tracking > Is Adam linked into the day-to-day on the Webmaker dashboards? Yes. > 4.) Partner Management & CRM > Webmaker Mentors needs to be accessible to be asked for money during EOY campaign, etc. > Are these conversations connected? Filed this as a separate ticket here, to ensure it happens: * Document plan for email list opt-in and CRM integration with Webmaker mentors ** https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=988331 * Please CC yourself on that ticket if you're touching pieces of that work. > 5.) Contributor Badges Documentation we have so far on this is gathered here: * https://wiki.mozilla.org/Webmaker/Badges * My understanding is: the Webmaker and Contributor badge plans and roles are still in active discussion this week. We should aim to have them nailed down next week. * We need to finalize our RACI for the work, get consensus on what we're shipping when, and consolidate the various spec docs. * Lets track here: Finalize planning documentation and roadmap for Webmaker and Contributor badges https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=988339
* Hope that helps some, Geoff. I have no involvement in (3), but that's my understanding on the other stuff. But I've been away as you know, so others will be able to chime in with more.
It does. Thanks, Matt! Others?

We touched on the Contribution Pathways in today's cross-team call and acknowledged that although we got a good start on this, momentum has stalled. Currently, work on the Contribution Pathways is divided into 2 areas: metrics & dashboard (including Makermind), which Adam and Jbuck are working on, and comms & social monitoring, and email engagement which Amira, Lainie, Michelle and I have mapped out. Of course, there are the badging components of the Contribution Pathways to consider as well. The spreadsheet is a solid start. Now, I suggest we identify one clear leader/owner who can coordinate the contributor actions from when they are taken through how they are acknowledged and to how we will record them in the CRM. I don't mean they'll be responsible for doing the ongoing work (those owners have already been identified). Rather, this project needs an overlord to move from mapping to reality.

Ditto to what Erika said, we're regrouping to go over this stuff again and build out. Also, interested to know when the new platform will launch so I know how to manage some of the MP things going through BSD? Andrea, we can probably do with a catch-up on timings and expectations.

Regarding #5: "Contributor Badges - Important to make sure there's no daylight between the engagement funnel for Webmaker, Webmaker badges, and Mozilla contributor badges. They need to parts of the same whole. Emily, Matt, Michelle: Are these linked?" I'm adding Chris and Sunny as FYI as they've been in close touch with Brett and team about BadgeKit for issuing Webmaker badges. Michelle and I have been discussing the Super Mentor badge (particularly around the forthcoming visual templates from Sean Martell). There is time on the calendar for discussion about contributor badges on Thursday at 12 EST in my Vidyo room for interested individuals. Thanks!
* This ticket was useful has a conversation starter, but it has too many disparate elements in it to be actionable going forward. Going to mark it resolved, since I think we're tracking this work in other threads and pages. ENGAGEMENT LADDER * We are re-focused on the Engagement Ladder work we started and have divided into a series of sprints that will be permanently documented here going forward: https://wiki.mozilla.org/Webmaker/Engagement_Ladder a) Definitions -- the key users stories we need to a) count and b) respond to. Working through the spreadsheet we all worked on at Webmaker Work Week together b) Infrastructure -- the plumbing and webmaker.org user model stuff. Jbuck and Adam c) Communications -- writing copy for custom email responses, etc. CONTRIBUTOR DASHBOARD * The contributor dashboard work continues apace here: https://wiki.mozilla.org/Webmaker/Metrics BADGES * We're all meeting on badges soon to finalize plans and documentation
Matt, I think this needs to get closed or broken up into follow-ups. I'm assigning to you to drive that.
