988755 - TB 24.4.0, W7 64bit: when TB suggests addresses during composition it freezes & does not allow choosing recipients

Steps to reproduce:

Have four address books and collected addresses. When typing adressee into new message, TB goes busy and inserts any recipient starting with the same letter.
Instead of recipient "[e-mail]" it choses some other starting with "w"

For second adressee, a list of possible matches pops up that is not selectable


Actual results:

unwanted addressee inserted, and/or no choice from list. TB freezes.


Expected results:

- Would like to get a list of recipients allowing me to chose.
- Quick reaction.
XP and OSX TBs do work finely with this set of address books.

how many contacts in the largest address book?
using google contacts addon?

Sorry. Out of office, all other machines and OSs are fine, and could not reach into this one with the problem.

I have 8 address books with 600, 150, 800 and 500 entries each. So, not too large. 
I do not use the Google contacts add-on.
I did use the Addressbooks Sychronizer 1.0.10, but it is disabled and does not change the situation.

If you see the issue with version 38 beta started in safe mode then please reopen the bug.
