(Whiteboard: [closeme 2016-02-01])
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:26.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/26.0 (Beta/Release)
Build ID: 20140111130901
Steps to reproduce:
Clicked Edit → Account Settings → Account Actions → Add Other Account
It immediately asks for a name and email address, which I enter.
Click Next…
Actual results:
It asks for a newsgroup server.
Expected results:
It used to ask for whether we were adding a newsgroup server or a movemail server before asking for an email address. It seems to no longer do this and instead immediately assumes I want a newsgroup account.

Stuart, do you still see this problem when using a newer version??

I do not see this in current builds. It first asks whether creating a movemail or news account.
Stuart, are you actually trying it on linux? Because on Windows the movemail option is not there.

I tried it the other day and thought I had mentioned that. Ahh well. Yes, It's working now in Thunderbird 38.4.
Yes I am running it in Linux, as Movemail is a Unix concept, I'd be surprised to see it implemented on Windows. (That said, it'd be nice to point it to an instance of Cygwin and have it work.)

I'll mark this as resolved, if someone strikes the same problem we can always re-open it but it seems to be fixed now.
