Details

Text zoom works fine on the body of messages, but doesn't change the size of the listing portion (the part with Subject, date etc) in 3-pane view. Its probably missing in other areas as well.

I believe that while focus is in that pain that View/Zoom/Zoom-In (or any of the standard OS shortcuts like command-+) should zoom the text there as well.

There doesn't appear to be a setting for changing the size either (though I suspect its buried somewhere in the config editor) the Preference/Display/Size only covers body text.

FYI.
View/Zoom is designed only for content display.
For UI elements such as menu, layout.css.devPixelsPerPx = x (x>1,zoom) or x<1,zoomout) is provided. This is applied to entire window, so it's always applied to menu/thread pane/folder pane/header pane etc. at same time, and is always applied to content too.
First of all anything buried in the config editor effectively doesn't exist for any but experts
Secondly - that's a really obscure way to change the font size on a UI element, compare for example the Finder which allows you to set View/ViewOptions.
