This article was initially added to the English KB by mistake. After getting in touch with Reuben, I deleted the article from the English KB, but I checked to make sure it wasn't linked to any translations first. Could deleting it from the English KB still have something to do with its disappearance from the BR KB?

If a article was first written from the en-US KB and if it was not created as a new article in it's own locale after but instead translated from the en-US KB to it's correct language which shouldn't be possible (it is except it is noted that the content is not approved for translation) and that the article was deleted in the en-US KB, I would think that this might have done something.

If the new article was created as a translation of the English article that was deleted, then it would get deleted along with the English parent.
Not sure what we can do about this. Can we get the content from somewhere? What date was it created? What date was it gone?

it seems that this must have been what happened, as I wrote in the wrong language ...
I wrote this article in March 16, 2014 and realized that he just disappeared March 28.
I don't think the article was approved on the English KB though. Is it possible to localize an article if it's still pending approval?

It is somewhat possible but an alert is shown to the localizer.

I'm going to close out this bug. I think it's a common rule that unapproved articles shouldn't get localized.
