STR: * go to www.latania.com * wait that it load * watch Expected: * the picture slideshow is happening slowly Actual: * it goes like crazy If you slide down to the page, you can see the video seems to constantly reload. You might need to display then hide the in-page top right menu to make the issue happen. This does not happen on Firefox Desktop (tried in responsive mode). Tested on a v1.3 device, haven't try on a newer/older device yet.
Does this happen on 1.1?

I just tested on my Unagi with 1.1 and the page crashed. Better test on another device.
It crashes also on my Buri 1.5. It takes probably a lot of memory and this triggers maybe fun behaviors on Peak...
(In reply to Jason Smith [:jsmith] from comment #1) > Does this happen on 1.1? On 1.1 Buri, the phone also crashes. Crashes when loading the webpage. Some more info on comment 0: I used a Peak. So it might make sense to test on Buri 1.3 (I bet it crashes too).
Confirmed on my Peak using master. This happens both with and without the hardware compositor turned on. I've noticed that whenever the slideshow runs it causes a rapid sequence of errors on the logcat: E/GeckoConsole( 788): [JavaScript Warning: "Expected 'none' or URL but found 'alpha('. Error in parsing value for 'filter'. Declaration dropped." {file: "http://www.latania.com/" line: 0 column: 0 source: "alpha(opacity=5)"}]
