Just filing here so we don't forget it. We'll need webmaker.org to link to training.webmakerprototypes.org and wherever the Maker Party site lives. These are two big offerings that we'll want lots of users to find.

I don't see this being done this week. It needs review and building into the IA... or some way to announce from the homepage. Makerparty faces the same issue so will look at this asap next week.

Just checking in to see how this is going. I need to urgently send out invitation copy to partners and very much want to send them to webmaker.org so we can make use of the referrer id.
Hey Paula, We're sprinting on Explore content and design this week (Toronto work week), so I don't think I'll be able to look at or integrate Training this week afterall. When do you intend to send out the invitation (what is meant by "urgent"), and is it truly blocked on this? The Training platform does incorporate Webmaker branding for the reason of credibility and association, and I don't want us to rush integration into Webmaker.org until our team has the bandwidth to review content, IA, UX and code. If it's a matter of doing something simple like replacing a banner image on the front page (and not incorporating into the nav) maybe we can look into this early next week.

How's this for MVP? See middle CTA below the green banner. I think once Training is redesigned we could create a big banner for the main feature area similar to the maker party one.

Ultimately I think that Training should live in the nav under Community or Resources, but I think we need to take the appropriate steps to evaluate and design Training as a Webmaker product (happening with design reviews etc. prior to September) before we incorporate it into the nav. Re. localizing the logo – that is not typically done in branding. For instance, we don't localize 'Webmaker'. So I would argue this is R+. Unless we come up with an alternative treatment, eg. something illustrated.

+1 to Cassie's proposal of linking to training from front page and holding off on IA for now. We can further promote training on the forthcoming community landing page and when we integrate the training platform on wm.org later this year.

Matt, how about we update the homepage with the training CTA for the end of next sprint, July 11? That will let us ramp up attendees for the summer training sessions. I've updated the sprint deadline tag, just change it back if you disagree. This still needs assigning.
