when the user changes the sound settings of the timer in Clock app, once the app is closed (killed), the sound settings go back to default (currently "no sound").
expected behaviour : after leaving the app, the changes in sound setting should be kept.
hardware : alcatel one touch fire
version : 1.4 prerelease
build identifier : 20140331000202
git commit info : 2014-03-28 17:32:10 4c3b2f57

More detailed STR would be helpful to clarify this bug.
Do you mean that the sound setting is lost during the run of the timer and you get no sound even though you did select a sound?
Or do you mean that when you go back to set a subsequent timer, it would be nice if the last sound you used was already pre-selected in the options?

It sounds like she's talking about the latter. Related is bug 986105, which asks us to change the default from "No Sound" to "Classic Buzz".

In my opinion, this shouldn't be done for 1.4 (this is a new feature that will likely need some non-trivial code), but bug 986105 should (probably a 1-line patch).
(I'm giving opinion because Natalia is bothering us in Paris with this each day once ;) )

Agreed, just wanted to make certain of the report because the former would be a clear blocker. Moving this to feature backlog.

Yes, that's it. Avoid having to change the sound setting each time you use the timer.
Thanks Marcus, Julien and Dylan !
