From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:0.9.3+) Gecko/20010909
BuildID: 2001090908
The browser is leaking memory when it opens dialog boxes. In time, after
downloading items that make a dialog popup, system resources will fall and
continue to fall until you are forced to restart your system. It reached 33% on
my system before I restarted. My resources where at 83% before running the browser.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
Just visit sites that cause the browser diaglog box to open when trying to
download a file.
Actual Results: The same.
Expected Results: Expected it to be able to perform these tasks without leaking.

Reporter: Is this still a problem with a more recent build ?

I can create an attachment to generate a modal dialog popup, a modeless dialog
popup, and a regular new window. From that, anyone with a monitor for systems
resources can confirm or deny this bug.
Reporter: is it a modal, modeless, or new window which is causing you problems?

Reporter: per advice on #mozillazine, I'm closing this bug as wfm. It is a
known problem for Mozilla to consume lots of resources. For the record, my
system resources are currently 31%, and I'm doing just fine.
Please feel free to reopen this bug if you see additional problems in this
regard. :)
