To reproduce:

1. Enter mail without any email address entered 
2. Click Send. You get the following error:

"No sender was specified. Please fill in you email address in the Mail and
Newsgroup preferences."

However. This should refer to the 'Mail/News Account Settings'

(in preferences, there is no email entry under 'Mail and Newsgroup'
What localization are you using?  The relevant properties files:

/mailnews/compose/resources/locale/en-US/composeMsgs.properties, line 55 --

Im not sure what localization I use. It just the nightly build. I suppose
the english or something. How can i check?
On windows NT?  I have no idea.  Sounds like you're either using an old build or
somehow picking up the en-DE or en-GB files (fairly likely, given your email).
