win32 talkback build 2001091003, win98se Don't know if this is a layout or form submission bug. 1. Go to http://www.weather.com/ 2. Type a zip code in the box near the top of the page and click the Go button. 3. The url box shows http://www.weather.com/search/search, but the page is blank. 4. View Page Source, there's html (and js) there. Using a build from 8/28, the weather by zip code page displays just fine.
trunk 2001091003, win98, works for me. Entered 99116, got to page http://www.weather.com/weather/local/99116?y=14&x=6 ...shows ok weather. Entering 96605 goes to http://www.weather.com/search/search which says "The location that you entered could not be found..." No blank pages, tested with and without javascript. Reporter, can you try this with a new profile?
Tested http://www.weather.com/weather/local/99116?y=14&x=6 on win32 talkback 2001091003, Windows NT SP6a: blank page displayed. Reproducible after browser restart and clear caches.
I also get a blank page with build 2001091003 on Win2k but the page loads on Linux with build 200109108.
this should propably be a dup of bug 98340
dupe of bug 98951 and/or bug 98262 ?
This looks like the same as bug 98340. A little more info, though: The pages load just fine in the 8/28 build. They come up blank in the 8/31 build and every build since. Can't say about 8/29 or 8/30, but I could download them and try if I need to. > Reproducible after browser restart and clear caches. An interesting thing about this - whenever I install a new build, I always remove the Cache folder before starting up the first time. But I am also a little suspicious of cookies. I have cookie warnings turned on, but it seems the warning message doesn't always pop up on the builds from 8/31 on. This site and the others listed in bug 98262 ask for a lot of cookies. Maybe that's just coincidence.
