Steps to reproduce:

Firefox 28

STR
1. Navigate to page with alert button (JSFiddle)
2. Open new tab on browser
3. Drag first tab out of browser to create separate browser window
4. Attempt to call alert / push button


Actual results:

Alert doesn't show up


Expected results:

Alert probably should show up

Reproduced using Scratchpad (Tools → Web Developer → Scratchpad) in firefox-28.0.en-US.linux64.

Seemed to reproduce in Nightly 2014-04-08-03-02-05-mozilla-central-firefox-31.0a1.ru.linux-x86_64, but that may have been due to me clicking "Run" multiple times at first.  Couldn't reproduce again.
