Details

Running the complete set of reftests in a remote content process produces lots of failures.

There are failures across all platforms, but different platforms seem to have different failures. Some of the failures seem to have to do with the size of the screen. Other failures are pretty obvious: shapes being drawn with the wrong color or at the wrong position.

I dredged up the bug where we first decided to run only a subset of tests as part of reftest-ipc (bug 637858). Unfortunately it doesn't have any details about why some of the tests fail.
Is there a overlap between this bug and bug 973835?
The different pattern is not the same between two bugs, should be different root cause.
Some fail in Bug 991401 is due to scroll bar, suggest to apply dbaron's patch on Bug 986404 to show scrollbar always or Bug 975254 Comment 8 to hide scrollbar while doing reftests.

e10s shipped a long time ago so I assume all of these have been fixed
