User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:28.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/28.0 (Beta/Release)
Build ID: 20140314220517
Steps to reproduce:
Download http://platinumplusdesigns.com/images/inventory/catalog/Sheldon%20Speyer%20full%20color%20catalog.pdf
Actual results:
Firefox internal PDF viewer greys-out transparent image layers rather than properly render as transparent. Issue has existed since Firefox v19; PDF file is over 8 years old and has properly rendered on all Adobe Acrobat versions since v7.0. Firefox reports "This PDF document might not be displayed correctly"
Expected results:
Transparent backgrounds of multilayer images (multilayer PDF's with imbedded paths) should render as transparent.
I reproduce it on fx28, but not on fx29b4, could you try it?
Bug 759468 fixed?

Sorry about the delay in the reply.
I, after prior lessons learned, try to stay away from Mozilla's beta channel like the plague. I'll give fx29b4 a try out as soon as I can, however.
