Details

We currently use a bunch of settings for communicating with the lock screen. We should investigate the possibility of using an actual IAC API to do that instead, particularly after the lock screen becomes a separate app which may not be running at all times.

Filed bug 1047047.
What's the status of this bug and bug 1047047? We are only two weeks away from FL and this marks as feature-b2g: 2.1.
Flags: needinfo?(ggoncalves)
We are not working on either at the moment. I filed bug 1047047 to initiate talks with the lockscreen team and evaluate what it would take on the lockscreen side, but I don't think we can (or need to) land this for FL. Either way, the FMD team is going through some big changes at the moment, and Gaia development is most likely going to be handed off to Jared Hirsch, who I'm CC-ing.

Why is this marked as blocking without any comment?

After discussing with Taipei managers, this can be moved to the next version, and it doesn't look like a blocker.
