While checking MDN I was prompted to help test the 'login with github feature' on the staging server.

I obliged but upon trying to do so (I was already signed in to github) it recognized that I was signed in but then presented me with an error page as if I was trying to create a new github account with a username which was already taken.

The attached screenshot shows that page/message.
Adam, thanks for helping us test!

Your production MDN profile is on the stage server, but it has an anonymized email address. So, you see this message because your username *is* taken on the stage server - by an anonymized MDN profile.

So long as you are able to create a new profile with a new username (the staging profiles will be deleted after the beta), the feature is working as intended.
Is there anything we need to do post-launch before closing this bug?
This is done! w00t!
