Details

When using a CGI link (e.g. the enter new bug link below) nothing will happen.
The browser becomes unresponsive.

When the active window loses focus the action is then carried out the way it
should be. On checking in with #mozilla I discovered the same thing happening.
IRC will not load until the window that requested it loses focus. More testing
probably needed here - I have no more time, so I have reported it.

Reproducable: alas, yes.
Reporter, what build are you using? What operating system?

worksforme linux current CVS...
build: 2001090908
OS: other → Windows 98
worksforme 2001092503 win98

Reporter, can you please download a more recent nightly build and let us know
(within 10 days) if you're still seeing this behavior?

Also, please see the bug reporting guidelines at
http://www.mozilla.org/quality/bug-writing-guidelines.html .

Thanks.
This problem has seemed to have been solved.

I have reinstalled since, it may have been a random error produced by
overwriting file, or a corrupt registry. I cannot be more specific.
wfm per reporter's comments.
