Steps to Reproduce: 1. Enable Wi-Fi through the Settings app 2. Let it search for networks 3. Connect to one 4. While it's "Connecting to...[SSID]," disable/toggle Wi-Fi to off 5. Now, try to re-enable it... Actual Results: Once you disable/toggle Wi-Fi through off, the button is ghosted out/disabled permanently

Command for terminate wpa_supplicant didn't show up in the log (neither ASCII nor HEX form), so the possible cause might be 1) gecko didn't observe settings change. 2) wifi disable command was ignored. [1][2] 3) Something wrong with p2pManager, I don't know if it is enabled in hamachi. I tested this on Unagi, it seems this STR for disabling wifi will take longer time(10 sec) than normal(1 sec), but it will recover. I encountered this issue in bug 989717, and will try to resolve it there. If the disabled button recovers if you wait longer, please mark this duplicated to bug 989717. If not, please post log with |Settings->Developer->Wi-Fi output in adb| enabled.

It is this, thanks; I don't know why I missed this the other time. Also, I saw the supplicant die while doing this :-(
