User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:28.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/28.0 (Beta/Release)
Build ID: 20140319112331

Steps to reproduce:

Click on the searchbar and select "manage search engines". Try to reorder the search engines to a different order.

Actual results:

After moving the search engines around, I cannot click on "ok", so firefox never accepts the changes. As a note, I can add and remove fine, but reordering does not work.

Expected results:

Clicking "ok" should save the results. I have attached a picture to hopefully make it more clear.
What is *cannot click on "ok"*? no response, not saved, or else?
Component: Untriaged → Toolbars and Customization
Yes, there is no visible response when I try and click "ok". Simply put, nothing happens. I have tried letting it sit for a while, but it does not matter.
Try http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Safe+Mode to excluding the impact of add-ons.

Okay, yes, this did the trick (thanks). What I did next, was to disable each addon that I have individually, to try to isolate which one was the culprit. Unfortunately, I was not able to get it to work this way. It only worked in safe mode. Not sure what to do now to trouble shoot it.
Well, safe mode also uses some safe value for other things, but I don't know which.

If your profile is not complicated, you can try https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/reset-firefox-easily-fix-most-problems.
Okay, not sure it is worth it, but will keep that in mind. Am I to understand, then, that this is not indeed a bug, but rather something goofy with my specific profile / setup?

Thanks for the help.

I'm not sure. Maybe the occasional bug, maybe something broke it (e.g. add-on).

Unfortunately the fix here was never found, and the user's account is now inactive. Therefore marking as incomplete.
