Steps to reproduce:

When trying to find problems with installed plugin Lightning 3.01 I opened :
tools/addons manager
use find to get to Ligtning
when clicking to option button on the screen, 


Actual results:

the SM window freezes and nothing works on it, the window could not be minimized, changed size,  closed etc...


Expected results:

I should be able to get the menu of Lightning or not to freeze the window.

Ha! Funny.

SeaMonkey 2.24 & Lightning-2.9b1 do the same.

Note that only the current window is affected.
If other windows had been opened, they respond normally.

(At times, when trying to port a FF extension, I've had the same type of lockups occur.)

This is fixed in Lightning 3.1 See Bug 636104. Workaround. In SeaMonkey navigator window or mailnews window, go Edit -> Preferences. The tree on the left should have a branch called "Calendar". Click on the twisty to open more sub-options. Something like:
