bulleting (<ul>) isn't nesting

I'm using today's 0.9.4 candidate on linux.
problem:
nested unordered list items don't actually nest, they stay at the same level as
the root.
steps to repro:
1. fire up composer
2. type something
3. select the bullet button from the toolbar while the cursor is still on the
line w/ your text.
4. hit enter
5. hit tab (this is supposed to nest the bullet, but it does not)
