From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; WinNT4.0; en-US; rv:0.9.4) Gecko/20010913 BuildID: 2001091303 If you press 'Save Link' , then the browser opens a windows to save the file. What is normal - but Mozilla doesn't enter the 'default' name. So if you -for example- click on 'download.zip', you see a window, but you always need to enter the name (in this example 'download.zip') Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.CLick on 'Save as' 2. 3.
wfm 2001091321 linux trunk reporter: do you have an url where this happens ?
This happens with every url
It seems to work for me. I right-clicked on the "First" link at the top of this page and it filled in the file name properly. See attachment. WinNT 4 SP6a Mozilla 0.9.3 BuildID: 2001080110
Please note that I mean the 'Save AS' 'button', not the Save Link button
"Save as" ans "save link as" are not the same. "Save as" save the current page. There's a bug about saving and url that has no filename in it like "http://mozdev.org/ftp/pub/multizilla/" but I can't find it.
Ok, if it's a duplicate then you can 'close' this bug. tnx. Bart
