Details

Microsoft has released version 8.1 update 1 for Windows. We might want to upgrade as soon as possible. But as I have read in some forums, people have problems with this update. So maybe we should wait a bit until those have been fixed.
As Andrei mentioned on IRC yesterday, he wants to try that on his own box first. If all is fine for him, we might want to get started with our hosts in staging.

I actually didn't have it available yet. It could be that MS rolls them out sequentially based on regions? I've only had some security updates. I'm also clearing the flag for now as I'll be away until next week...

Actually it seems to be comprised of several updates (I was expecting 1 big update similar to old Service Packs). More info here: http://www.extremetech.com/computing/178091-how-to-download-and-install-windows-8-1-update-1-for-free-right-now
So all goes well here? Can we update the nodes on staging for it maybe tomorrow?
I haven't had any problems both on my desktop PC and on a VirtualBox VM. (I was away for almost a week, so I haven't used any of them extensively, but from the limited time I used them all looks good). I'd say to do the updates on staging.

Nodes on staging were updated with the last KB 2919355 update. > mm-win-81-32 > mm-win-81-64 Let-s see how it's working untill tomorrow and I'll continue with the rest if all runs fine.
Daniel updated production machine mm-win-81-32-4 today, will continue tomorrow with the rest.
