Details

The past two days session restore has had problems. Either re-opening with tabs that were closed during the previous session, or not restoring some tabs that were open at the end of the previous session It does not appear to follow a regular pattern.

Since tabs that should not have appeared show up, my guess is that the problem is on the shutdown.
Depends on: fxe10s
I also note that some of my form history is now missing as well. possibly rooted in the session restore.
I'd nominate for m1. Anything that loses user data is likely to upset Nightly users.

You mention the past two days, does this seem to be a regression? Can you find a tiny STR for a part of the problem? This may also be related to bug 982938.

"past two days" == "since I turned e10s for the first time two days ago" Normal shutdown from the ui point of view, 8-60ish tabs.

Higher tab counts seem to cause some subset of the middle tabs to turn up blank, but I don't have a consistent str. :blassey suspects a race somewhere.

I just click the "Restart Nightly" button to update 8/27 Nightly to 8/28 and it opened a bunch of windows that I had been opened and then closed during my previous session, so I think this is still a problem. I have browser.tabs.remote.autostart enabled.

eirily similar to bug 1060203
:ally, do you still see this?

My experience may have been the same as bug 1060203. I did have some crashed tabs that session and I don't know for sure if the tabs that erroneously reopened after restarting were only the crashed tabs, all closed tabs, or what.
yea sometimes, but no good STRs. Blassey & I suspect a race condition somewhere

Still seeing this ally?

Havent seen it in a while. Might be good to close the bug until we hear otherwise from someone experiencing it.
