User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:28.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/28.0 (Beta/Release) Build ID: 20140314220517 Steps to reproduce: Thundebird 24.4.0 + Lightning 2.6.4 - Add a caldav network calendar (we are using Horde Kronolith) - Create a new event - Add an attendee - Save and close Actual results: - The event is saved but no e-mail send popup is shown and no invitation is sent Expected results: - E-mail popup + invitations via e-mail
The Horde Kronolith doesn't support server scheduling, No errors in the console, also enabling debug logs.
Have you assigned an email address to the calendar, you are trying to use (this is mandatory for email scheduling to work)? If so, is there anything in the error log?
An e-mail address is assigned to the calendar, no error in the logs. If needed I can provide: - logs files - access to the caldav server
Can you please provide the debug log from the error console? Do have alos access to the access log of the server? Another question: is offline support enabled for the respective calendar?
Just tested with offline support enabled, the same thing. I'm attaching the debug log of the client. In the server log I have no error.
Attached file debug_log.txt
Debug log of thundebird. (extracted parts when I click "save and close").
The event hasn't organizer/attendee properties anymore, when re-retrieved by the server after sending the PUT request - your server stripped them. Did you change the e-mail addresses in the log or did you use @example.net adress?
I manually changed all the company address with "example.net". The strip of the organizer/attendee properties can be the problem on the invite/modifi etc?
At this stage probably, if you would try to update an exsiting invitation definitely, because there is simply no more information about attendees available, Lightning could use. For initial invitation: are you sure the notify attendees checkbox in the event dialog was enabled and checked before pressing save&close?
Yes checkbox was enabled on all tests, tested multiple time on multiple versions (also 24.0 with lightning 2.4).
I just double checked, without organizer / attendee properties in the re-retrieved event, there shouldn't be possible to send any notification. Please report back whether the issue is solved once you resolved your server issue.
Modified the backend and all is working fine now.
