998806 - Change "Edit this thread" button to "Edit thread title" or similar

Description

[Andrew Truong [:feer56] [:andrewtruong] [:atruong]]

It is confusing when we want to make an edit and sometimes we forget that "edit this thread" just means that we're editing the thread title and not the original thread post as to edit the thread post, we need to scroll down a little more to "Edit this post". We should change the "Edit this thread" button to "Edit thread title" or similar.

I would like to suggest we change  "Edit this post" to "Edit this Answer" or "Edit this reply" along with "Edit this thread" to "Edit this <thread title>"

Where do you see "Edit this thread"? I only see "Edit this question" at the top along with our other options: Delete this question | Lock this question and that "edit this question" option lets us edit the thread title AND original post. See my attachment

Thanks for the clarification. I thought he was talking about editing the OP, not a post on its own. And sorry about the multiple posts guys. It was Lazarus's fault. Unfortunately it doesn't come with an exclude list of sites for it.

This is for the contributor forums.. That's why it's in the forum component and not the questions component.
