Details

From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; WinNT4.0; en-US; rv:0.9.4) Gecko/20010913 BuildID: 2001091303 In Prefs, expand all categories you can see. On the left, you won't see a scroll bar, even though the list of categories is longer than the space for them. When you have been through all categories, click on the triangle for 'Appearance' to shrink it so you can see more prefs. The browser crashes! Dr Watson, talkback. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go into Prefs. Expand all categories you can see. Go down through each one by one - don't alter anything, just bring it up on the screen. 2. When you get down to the third one in Privacy & Security, you will have run out of panels you can see. So, click on the triangle for 'Appearance' to shrink it so you can see more prefs. Actual Results: Crash upon clicking the 'Appearance' triangle. First two times, it drew the scrollbar before crashing. Third time, it had a space for the scrollbar but didn't actually manage to draw it before dying. Expected Results: Shrink the 'Appearances' category, leave more preferences visible on the left. (I would have expected it to show a scroll bar the moment there were more prefs than space on the left to show them - bug 59108?) Talkback IDs: TB35453710H, then TB35453824G. First crash brought up Talkback but didn't send one ... Another odd thing: the systray -turbo icon stayed visible for maybe thirty seconds after each crash. Weird ...
