I opened MozSurface.md in the markdown editor "Mou" (a Mac app) and some things looked off, so here's a fix for the issues I saw:

 * Bulleted lists need a blank line above them.
 * Angle brackets (<>) need to be escaped in plain text as &lt;&gt; or wrapped in code formatting, otherwise the whole tag (e.g. <SharedData>) will disappear.
 * Headers can't contain line breaks.
 * some typos
