Details
I am unable to use java with mozilla cvs, and I get the error in the Summary,
with "System Error ?::Resource temporarily unavailable"
Also, I am unable to download the Linux java plugin from netscape.com
please give your buildid, and steps to reproduce
(if you can download a talkback enabled build to report a tb incident that would
be great)

Build ID #0000000000
install sun's jre1.3.1 into /usr, so it becomes /usr/jre1.3.1
cd /prog/networking/mozilla/dist/bin/plugins (plugins directory of mozilla build)
ln -s /usr/jre1.3.1/plugins/i386/ns600/libjavaplugin_oji.so .

Reporter, would you describe your environment (like Linux Release version etc)
more precisely. What URL do you try to open when crashing occurs ?
Environment was (at bug time): Linux from Scratch, kernel 2.4.12 (or maybe 10),
glibc 2.2.4.
Pages visited: java.sun.com, games.yahoo.com, www.knownspace.com
also occurs on all new kernel builds....
Re-assign to sep.

Reporter: Are you able to open java console (before visiting any pages with
applets)?
Is plugin present at about:plugins?
Could you please post the console output before the error message?
I just saw this bug for the first time today by visiting java.sun.com. I had
jre 1.3.0_01 installed and when I visited java.sun.com the browser died and the
console showed this:
INTERNAL ERROR on Browser End: Exec of "java_vm" failed: 2
<
System error?:: No such file or directory
Gdk-ERROR **: Fatal IO error 9 (Bad file descriptor) on X server :0.0.
INTERNAL ERROR on Browser End: Could not read ack from browser
System error?:: Resource temporarily unavailable
So I deleted my jre plugin from my mozilla directory and downloaded a new
jre.xpi, specifically 1.3.1b24.
After I installed that new jre all pages worked fine. The power did go out a
couple days ago so it is possible that the other jre was corrupted. Perhaps
that was the original posters problem as well?

Bug is not browser bug but plugin bug. Anyway, problem aldeady fixed in plugin.
Close as WFM, because cannot be reproduced with latest jres.
