Dev Derby is going to be migrating to community ownership and will eveolve a bit in terms of what types of contests are hosted (wil lexpand beyond just MDN-hosted demos and incliude WebMaker makes, apps etc.). 

Would like to get a new design/logo for the site that gives it a distinct look and feel from MDN. It will still be "sponsored" my MDN, so could use the MDN style but as Dev Derby will no longer be integrated into MDN/Demo Studio and instead be a separate, community managed site.

If possible, it would be great to be able to incorporate the muck-loved RoboDino, as it a great crossover between the community & legacy MDN. 

Requirements:
new site design for Dev Derby, separate from MDN (can be related to)
New Dev Derby "logo"/mascot
a way to put "sponsored my MDN" into the page

Hi Ali. It'd be great to get more info about what you're looking for, both in terms of style and scope, so we can resource the work appropriately. Am having a bit of a hard time figuring out what to do based on the above description.

What's your timing on this? I'm going to be on PTO from 4/30-5/6 so if we have time to wait until I get back to do a kickoff meeting, that would be best.

Last question - how does this relate to what we started in bug 925893?

We're still hoping to relaunch, but it's ok to mark this as wontfix, I can reopen it if we regain momentum.
