These, and the shorthand box-sizing are crucial to the widespread acceptance of new layout. They are the only statisfactory replacements for the ubiquitous <table width=100% ... etc.

->Layout. IMO, not a high priority until CSS3 box model gets to CR or very close to it, since before that point the spec is subject to change with no regard to implementations.

WONTFIX. It is likely that these will be taken out of the spec and replaced by 'box-sizing', and it is also possible that 'box-sizing' itself will be removed. We already implement 'box-sizing' to some extent. ('-moz-box-sizing')
