Within the next day or so Themes.org will be having their long awaited relaunch. One of the consequences is that the location of the Mozilla themes will move from their current location to http://www.themes.org/skins/mozilla/ I will attach a patch which can be applied as soon as the new site is launched. The patch will need a review but as it's so simple I'm sure a rubber-stamp rather than a super-review will suffice.
OK, the new themes.org is now launched, so the old link now 404's, time for the patch to be applied ;)

Themes.org is down again (they noticed a few big bugs after the launch so decided to move the launch by a few days). I'll let you know when we're ready to go... In the meantime the old URL and the new URL don't work, so the new patch might as well be checked in so that it works with the new site (this should go into the 0.9.5 branch). Ben, can you review and check this in or should this be assigned to someone else?

It will be reliable when it is finally launched, they just released the site before it was ready then realised it was a bad idea so they pulled the site till it was less buggy. Hopefully the site will be reasy for 0.9.6, I've been too busy to check with the developers to find out why things are taking longer than expected.

Tell us something we don't know - the correct URL is also listed in this bug ;) OK, give the site a week to make sure that it the bugs are out and the site doesn't vanish again then I'd say check this patch in.

Seems like mozilla really should have its own theme page, which should simply contain a list of theme pages (and possibly its own). That way we don't have to change the code everytime it moves. And we can support competing theme sites!

The site is now up and running since the end of october and content is moving back in, time for the patch id=51627. As soon as there are several sites devoted to hosting Mozilla Themes, we can change to using something like suggested in comment #16. But for so long and certainly for 0.9.6 I'd suggest to stay with themes.org. People will resubmit their Themes as soon as they know where the appropriate place to do so is.
