Some columns are not correctly displayed.
For example, on the top right corner, there is a list of icons with label
surrounded with a frame of color yellow. The bottom of the frame is aligned
with the rest of the frame.
And some labels (for example, 'Livres' or 'DVD & Video') have a color bar over
them. This color bar must not be displayed.

I've checked fnac.com with mozilla (2001101503 NT4), IE5.5 and
NS 4.7.
All show the vertical misalignment (see the three screenshots). So I think it
was designed like that.

However Mozilla shows some "bizarreries":
1.The curved line introducing an item shows very thick in mozilla with some
skidding in the curve.
2."Musiques" is not colored and used a wrong size.
3.Finally, mozilla uses a less space to write the text describing the item.

Seems that the site loas different style sheets for different browsers, but
only one style sheet for all netscape browsers.

Sure, the black background image at the top of the page
is vertically misaligned.

Fnac is the biggest e-commerce french site.

Is we mention even 2% of people using NS6.x they can see a potential loss of
millions of dollars.

Keywords: +ecommerce (although transactions are ok, the bad layout design scares
Mozilla/NS6.x users), +evang500 as this site is the biggest french e-commerce
site and 1 of the top 10 french sites.
Even if not on list http://mozilla-evangelism.bclary.com/evang500/ I feel this
non-US site deserves attention: Severity -> Major.

This is now fixed, fnac.com switched to doctypes that will enable Quirks mode.
Successfully tested on Phoenix 20021030 on Win2k.

As it's already marked ASSIGNED, I do not take the opportunity to mark this
FIXED myself, Tristan ?

Propose to mark FIXED as the remaining broken pages should be fixed soon (like
http://rendezvous.fnac.com/ ).
