Details

I started Mail/News, entered login/pw for news server => Mozilla seemed to
update the news message counts; clicked on newsgroup shown as to have no new
msgs, and got suddenly >1000 new msgs
Yes, could be dup of 34406 - but not of 24592 because my NS 4.7x does not show 
that error

Olaf, see also bug 108650, which is highly related (to the way we update counts
on selection, vs. expanding/collapsing the server).
