I visit bluesnews.com every day, and I leave my cache settings in mozilla at
it's default of "When page is out of date". Recently I've noticed that it's
displaying yesterdays news. A shift-reload doesn't fix it.

Build 2001122003
I've never seen this problem with the actual contents of www.bluesnews.com, but
I do occasionally see it with the logo of the week in the upper-left corner.
Sometimes, Mozilla will show the previous week's logo when all other browsers
(NS 4.x, IE 4.x, 5.x) will show the new one. Shift-Reload, however, usually
DOES get the new logo. Possibly this is a different issue, but it's still a
caching problem.
A shift-reload will bypass the cache. Any ideas Darin?

a shift-reload doesn't fix it huh? reporter: are you connecting via a web proxy?
nope. No proxy.
reporter: can you try a more recent build? i wonder if the problem isn't
specific to the 2001122003 build.
I get a new build every day. I've seen it a couple times since, I believe. I
seem to recall it happening on the first page I load for that day.

But then again, it may not be. I'm not 100% sure.
ok, well thanks for the feedback... please do let us know if you see this
problem again. this is the first report of this type of problem i have
encountered. thx!
a bug was recently fixed with <meta http-equiv> handling that may have explained
this bug. marking WORKSFORME since the problem does not seem to be with us
anymore. please reopen if you can reproduce this bug.

Reopening on what I think is a related issue. I don't see any problems with the
actual text content of bluesnews.com anymore, but occasionally, the site logo is
still wrong (using the cached image). If I choose the "curious about the logo"
link, I'll see the correct image. I'll attach a screenshot for this.

This is with build 2002041503, Win98. This bug only happens occasionally.
Although bluesnews.com changes its logo every week, I don't see this problem
each week.

warner: since the problem you're describing is not the same as the original
report it be better to file a new bug. the problem likely has little to do
with what originally fixed this bug. thx!
