It's disabled if you don't have CSS pref on. Do you?
My point here is that even when you have CSS disabled on other platforms, on Linux the icon looks very pale relative to how it looks on Win and Mac.
IMHO, the icon shouldn't show at all when CSS "mode" is turned off.
This sounds like a themes issue but perhaps not? Don't windows and Linux use the same graphics/icons?

I just detected a small mistake in the css rules that can cause a vertical scaling of the icon. Will look at it when I am back in Paris.
If' there's a problem, it will have to wait.

Toolbar real estate is valuable! I really think we should hide this icon (not just disable it) when not in CSS mode.

Daniel will fix the CSS size issue for Linux and is filing another bug about hiding the toolbar button and making CSS mode the default.

The icon is now hidden when not in CSS mode. Now about the icon being blurry, is that really an EDITORBASE issue ? me does not think so.

Sujay: could you please verify that the bug is fixed (by fix for 161303) on Linux and that the icon looks fine ? Thanks.

ok the icon looks good now; consistent looking on all platforms. However, why is the icon enabled by default ?
> However, why is the icon enabled by default ? because we decided to do so and I fixed bug 161303 ? The current bug is fixed by check-in for 161303.
