Screenshot after repeating 4 times the operations
CVS 2002-01-30 07:30 CET Macos 9 2002012908 Launch Mozillla. Show bookmark sidebar. Expand a folder. Open bookmkark manage windows (which I'll call BMW for shortness sake). Close the opened folder in the BMW. Minimize and maximize the first window. Expected result: folder still open and twisty has the open look. Actual restul: folder still open and twisty has the closed look. Furthermore, if you try to "expand" once more the folder, Mozilla will actually do it doubling every bookmarks in the folder (can be repeated indefinitely).
