125104 - JA WinXP and Win2K: Cannot uninstall Mozilla completely

Build: 2002-01-14

Steps:
1. Install Mozilla on JA WinXP.
2. After installation, go to Control Panel, then uninstall Mozilla.
3. Observe desktop and Start Menu.

Actual:
1. Mozilla icon is still in desktop.
2. Mozilla Program Folder is still in Start Menu, which contains 3 items: Mail, 
Mozilla and Profile Manager.

We meant the install log in the "uninstall" directory (since this is an
uninstall bug), not the status summary log. Sorry for not being clearer.

Expected result:
1. Mozilla/Netscape icon should be removed from desktop after uninstallation.
2. Mozilla/Netscape Program Folder should be removed from Windows Start Menu 
after uninstallation.

Note: 
1. This is also reproducible with US and JA N6.22 on JA WinXP, it is a JA WinXP 
specific. 
2. It is not reproducible with recent trunk builds due to bug 125106 (Cannot 
install desktop icon and program folder properly on localized Windows).

This bug still can be reproduced on JA XP with branch build 20020503.

bug 125106 is fixed, so I tried with 2002050606 branch build (2002-05-06-16-1.0.0)

JA Win95: Install/Uninstall work fine
JA WinNT4SP6: Install/Uninstall work fine
JA Win2000SP2: Install works fine but Uninstall fails to delete desktop icon and
start menus

Also GRE can not be removed on latest trunk build /WinXP-JA after
uninstallation, while WinXP-EN and Win-SimpChinese don't has the same problem.

fix to bug 125106 has landed.  can you try to see if this problem is fixed or
not?  If not, could you provide the following:
 * export the following windows registry keys (just of the app you test with):
     moz:
       HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Mozilla (1.4b)
       HKLM\Software\mozilla.org\Mozilla\1.4b (en)

     ns:
       HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Netscape (7.02+)
       HKLM\Software\Netscape\Netscape\7.02+b1 (en)

   To export part of the registry, simply:
    * run regedit.exe
    * select the registry key in question
    * select the "Registry | Export Registry File..." menu
    * make sure the "Save type as:" is set to "Win9x/NT4 Registration Files
(REGEDIT4)" format.

 * this install's install_status.log located in the app dir.
 * this install's install_wizardX.log, where 'X' is the largest number you find.
 the file should be located in the app's Uninstall dir.

I don't think so.  Bug 67027 is about install into a intl folder, but this bug
is on Japanese windows system when install mozilla into any folder name (include
ascii).
