Details

When replying to an email with multiple recipients, Mozilla sometimes sends the
email to the same number of recipients but with some duplicates and some people
dropped off the list. That is, if you reply to an email with 7 recipients {A, B,
C, D, E, F, G} you might end up sending the reply to a broken list of 7
recipients {B, C, D, E, D, C, B} with some people {A, G} dropped off.

I can't reproduce the bug, but it happened to me at least twice. I am now
feeling paranoid about sending important emails to multiple people and I am
periodically checking my Sent folders to see what the copy of the intended email
looks like.
Christophe, if you can find some reproducible, easy-to-test steps, that would be
great. The more specific and narrowed down testcase you have, the bigger chance
that someone will be able to attach a patch to fix it. Thanks

Summary: ReplyAll doesn't always honor list of recipients → ReplyAll doesn't always honor list of recipients
did you delete manually some of the recipient before sending?

Target Milestone: --- → mozilla1.1beta
I have had the problem with ReplyToAll that if I delete any recipient by
selecting the entire text, and pressing the Backspace key, *all* recipients are
deleted. This is quite reproducible, and if you don't add any other receipients
afterwards, an attempt to send the message will fail with a "No recipients
specified" error
(even though recipients are visible in the compose mail addressing pane).

I suspect that this is the bug Jean-Francois is referring to, but I didn't see a
bug report for it in particular.

@alex
Would this bug be related to bug 134729?
I am the one who filed this bug. I used to get this misbehavior every other week
with the builds released around February and March, but since then, the builds I
have been using are sending emails correctly again. (I am currently running
2002061104)

Jean-Francois: no, I was not modifying the list of recipients.
